Basketball is offered to youth ages 5-18 through the Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association (WMBA).
Residents of the Varsity View and Westdale Community Centre catchment areas can register for basketball at Roblin Park.

Spring 2020 basketball registration information
All families wishing to register for basketball through Roblin Park Community Centre need to register online through the Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association.
Roblin Park is currently seeking coaches for Spring 2020 basketball. If you can help out, please contact our convenor.
Important 2020 Spring Season Dates:
February 24th - Online Registration opens
March 20th - Registration Deadline
March 21st - April 10th - League Administration - form teams, find coaches, schedule games
**Community Clubs may start practices anytime between March 21 and April 17th**
April 18-19th - First regular-season game for most teams.
May 16-17th - May long Weekend - no Games
June 6th-7th, 13th-14th - Playoffs **Ages 11-18
June 27th - Last game for Ages 7-10
June 27th-28th - City Championships **Ages 11-18

Introductory program with 1 session/week

Developmental program with 1 session/week

Winnipeg Minor Basketball Community League (Ages 7-18)
The WMBA Community League is a city-wide league where teams compete against other teams from different areas in the city. Teams are formed based on Community Centre catchment areas. The WMBA adheres to a fair play and zero tolerance model to ensure young athletes are competing in a Fun and Safe environment.
Age 7-8 (Co-ed): Winnipeg Minor Basketball
WMBA city-wide program with 1 practice/week and 1-2 games/week (Saturdays)
3v3 Cross Court Games
Age 9-12: Winnipeg Minor Basketball
WMBA city-wide program with 1 practice/week and 1-2 games/week (Saturdays)
9 Boys and 9-10 Girls - 4v4 Cross Court Games
10, 11, 12 Boys and 11-12 Girls - 5v5 Full Court Games
Age 13-18: Winnipeg Minor Basketball
WMBA city-wide program with 1 practice/week and 1-2 games/week (Sundays), plus playoffs
5v5 Full Court Games
