2021 RPCC Winter Carnival update

Roblin Park Community Centre is excited to host our 72nd annual Winter Carnival, January 18-24, 2021.

Traditionally, hundreds of families have come from all over the city to join in on the fun, food and community spirit. As you may have guessed, the 2021 version of Carnival is going to be different. Due to the pandemic, we anticipate we are not going to be able to host many of our most popular events, but our Carnival committee is working hard to do what we can within the guidelines currently set our by Manitoba Health.

For a complete update on this year's carnival, go to our Winter Carnival page here.

Roblin Park receives major grant to replace outdoor rinks

The board of Roblin Park Community Centre is thrilled to announce that our club has received $100,000 to replace all three of our outdoor skating rinks as part of the City of Winnipeg's Community Centre Renovation Grant Program (CCRGP).

Roblin Park is famous for its 'Winter Wonderland' and exceptional outdoor ice, thanks to the hard work of Marcy 'Iceman' Beaucage, and this funding will ensure that our centre is a thriving community hub for many years to come.

Special thanks to Roblin Park board member Keri Renouf for her hard work in submitting the grant.

We wish to thank the City of Winnipeg and Mayor Brian Bowman, the General Council of Winnipeg Community Centres and councillor Kevin Klein for the support.

We hope to begin work on the new rinks in the coming weeks and will keep the community notified of our progress.
